The proof
The app connects to three destinations only: the SecureGrid sign-in (signing in and renewing access), the anonymous update check on securegrid.dev (can be switched off) and — only on explicit request — the model download from huggingface.co. None of them receives your content.
The application window technically cannot open a network connection (Content Security Policy).
Offline mode also blocks the model download and the update check.
Updates are verified by checksum and signature before installation and installed only after you click “Restart to update”.
The mapping lives in memory only, per tab — and is overwritten when you close it.
Settings → Privacy shows the complete list of hosts the program can reach.

No. There is no upload and no telemetry. Detection, redaction and restoring run on your device. The app does sign in with your account, but it only transmits sign-in data — never texts, documents or the mapping.

When the device is online, the app quietly renews access in the background — it only asks again after 30 days with no connection at all.
